CISA: Chinese produced 0.495 million t of silicon steel in last Dec

According to the data released by CISA recently, in December of 2011, Chinese overall silicon steel production amounted to 0.495 million t, rising by 62 thousand t month over month. Meanwhile, in the entire 2011, Chinese silicon steel output reached 6.197 million t, swelling by 8.9% year over year.

On the other hand, from Jan-Dec of 2011, Chinese coal imports jumped by 11% year-on-year to 182.4 million t. At the same time, Japanese coal imports totaled 175.2 million t, down 5.1% year over year. Therefore, China has surpassed Japan and become the biggest coal importer in world
